On this warm April afternoon, I met a beautiful extended family in Plaza Colón, ready to walk through the old city with Abuela leading the way. At one point, I stepped back and watched Abuela hold her great-grand baby while her adult grandchildren chatted around her. It was a small moment, but you could feel the history surrounding them.
