When I met Alexi and Dillon, they were visiting Puerto Rico for a beach wedding in Rincón and decided to make the most of their trip by capturing couple maternity photos by the sea.
It was one of those calm evenings when the ocean hums quietly, the light turns golden, and time feels like it’s slowing down for you.

They reached out wanting something simple and candid: no over-posed moments, just the two of them celebrating this chapter before becoming parents.
After chatting about locations, we chose Domes Beach, one of my favorite beaches for photography in Rincón. The spot has everything I love for sunset portraits: soft sand, rocky textures, and quiet, golden sunsets.
When we met during golden hour, the light was soft and flattering, perfect for an intimate beach maternity photoshoot. Alexi looked stunning in her flowy white dress, glowing with that unmistakable pregnancy radiance.
Dillon’s calm energy and constant smile made every interaction between them feel effortless.

As the sun dipped lower, they walked hand-in-hand along the shoreline, laughing and talking about their baby’s arrival. I guided them just enough to keep things relaxed, letting the wind and waves do their part. These photos feel like little breaths of quiet joy, the kind that remind me why I love photographing couples during these milestones.
By the end, Alexi waded into the water for a few final portraits, the soft light wrapping around her like a halo. It was the perfect ending to a laid-back, love-filled evening in one of the most beautiful corners of Puerto Rico.
