The first time I arrived at Hacienda Azucena in Río Grande, I instantly knew it was something special. Nestled in the foothills of El Yunque rainforest, this hidden gem offers a peaceful escape surrounded by lush greenery and sweeping views of the mountains.

After several months of emails back and forth with Lauren and Tyler, I could tell their day was going to be a dream: an intimate micro wedding at Hacienda Azucena, just a few hours of heartfelt celebration shared with their closest family and friends. When I finally arrived and met the couple, the staff, and the venue itself, I fell completely in love with it all.

Their Hacienda Azucena wedding was laid back, whimsical, and full of personality. Think hipster elegance, vibrant laughter, a killer music playlist, and food that made everyone linger at the table a little longer. I remember photographing their ceremony overlooking the rainforest, with the warm light filtering through the trees as they exchanged vows. It felt like I was witnessing my own dream wedding come to life.
