Parents, lovers of anime, languages, and travel, Naya and Nick started talking about their beach elopement photos in Puerto Rico as a joke. It turned into a great idea right away, and that's how I came into the picture.
Just a few weeks before their trip to Puerto Rico, they hired me for their elopement photography. We didn't talk much before our shoot; it was quite an easy, breezy transaction. Besides the info they put on their questionnaire, I met them during our photoshoot. And what a lovely surprise it was.
Beach Elopement Photos in Puerto Rico
On their elopement day, we met an hour and a half before sunset at one of the best beaches for photos in Loiza, just minutes from the airport. I waited for them with Tim Blackford, their officiant, until their uber arrived with two lovely and stylish souls.
We held the most beautiful, intimate celebration where they professed their love and promises to each other in the form of custom vows. After which, they signed to make it a legal marriage in Puerto Rico. I signed as a witness, too, something I do for many of my couples.
Finally, we spent the rest of our beautiful sunset together, having fun and celebrating love. I left them to enjoy the last light of their first day as a married couple together—and what a beautiful day for that.
