Brunch Wedding at Hotel El Convento

I love sharing elopements and weird wedding stories, because, although most weddings fit into a particular schedule, there are infinite options on how to make it your own. This was the case of Enid and Gary's brunch wedding.

On their beautiful, hot summer day, I arrived to Enid's hotel suite, and there she was: smiley, happy, and ready! We quickly went through some details she had put together. After she was ready, I quickly headed down to an alley right next to El Convento, where Gary was waiting for us.

First Look Session at Old San Juan

He was a bit nervous, because he had left the rings at their airBNB and someone needed to get them before ceremony (happening in less than an hour by this moment).

Misplacing or forgetting things on the wedding day happen more than people think, so it's always good to drop the link to my blog on stuff to remember.

A few minutes later, Enid showed up and surprised Gary on their first look session. They were so excited they forgot about the camera for a while, they had so much stuff to share with each other, as soulmates usually do.

With daytime weddings, a good timeline is key. In Gary and Enid's wedding, we opted for a first look session before noon sunlight hits with its unflattering harshness, which isn't that great for portraits.

Wedding Ceremony at El Convento

After the portraits were done, we walked to the Hotel, where guests were waiting for us in the beautiful indoor terrace, where the Ceremony would take place. During the ceremony and reception, later on in the Martorell Ballroom, it was evident how appreciated and loved are the newlyweds.

In just a few hours, I got the complete feel of a full-day wedding, and we even got pleneros near the end of my shift which brough everyone to the dancefloor. Abuelas included. And you know the party is good when the grandma's are dancing.

Thanks Enid and Gary for giving me the opportunity to share, laugh, and dance with you, and trusting me with your memories. It was awesome.

xo,

Cami

Enid's Review

Camille was amazing! I had a 6-month engagement and I was planning my Old San Juan wedding from Kansas City. I needed to find a good photographer and I came across her website and fell in love with her work. And oh my, she did not disappoint! She was super nice, as well as her assistant, and they made us feel comfortable! The turnaround time for the photos was amazingly quick and we loved the images she captured on our big day! My husband and I are some very happy, satisfied customers. =D
