From our very first conversation, Alison and Jose made it clear: they wanted their wedding to feel easy. No stiff poses, no rigid timeline, no wedding that felt like performing for a crowd. What they wanted was a day that genuinely felt like them, and Copamarina was the perfect venue to deliver exactly that.

I arrived early, under an overcast sky and an ominous weather forecast. I stayed optimistic, and the clouds eventually gave us just enough softness in the light to make everything feel dreamy rather than dramatic. Alison had just finished hair and makeup when we started with detail shots, then moved outside to her balcony for bridal portraits. Her bouquet stopped me in my tracks: a wild, textured mix of dried pampas, fresh orchids, tropical leaves, and a pink king protea as the centerpiece. It was bold, earthy, and completely her.

We brought in her family for a father-daughter first look and a few sister portraits before I broke away to document the ceremony and reception setup, which the decor team had already finished.
