A couple of weeks ago, at exactly 3pm, I received a phone call that went like this:

Client: Hi, I'd like to know your availability for a last-minute wedding.
Me: Sure, what's the day of the wedding?
Client: Today, at 6pm.

I rushed to my house, did the paperwork, prepared the gear, did my hair, got ready, and a couple of hours later I was watching Alexandra & Carlos get married in the beautiful outdoor plaza in the center of La Casona Restaurant in Santurce.

The time was right for a Wedding

When I asked what was the story behind this short-notice wedding, Alexandra told me: "We saw a window of opportunity, and we took it!". Carlos told me earlier, that after 4 years of relationship, they spontaneously decided to get married on Christmas Eve, and spent exactly two adrenaline-packed weeks planning their wedding. "I didn't think we would make it", Carlos told me while taking a long breath.

I had the pleasure of experiencing a beautiful wedding, packed with lots of emotion! That day I realized how far willpower will take a couple who loves one another. In just two weeks, they built a beautiful soireé for their loved ones, and I'm beyond grateful for documenting such magical memories.
