I had the pleasure of meeting Leida and José one night at Starbucks. While having a coffee, we fantasized about how beautiful that day would be when they would say their I do's.  

They shared their visions and expectations and showed me photos of Hacienda Don Carmelo. Until then, I had never done a wedding at Hacienda Don Carmelo, so discovering this new venue was a real adventure.

As a wedding photographer specializing in hacienda weddings, I was instantly captivated by the greenery and beauty of its gardens and structures.

My First Wedding at Hacienda Don Carmelo

The wedding day began very relaxed at Hacienda Don Carmelo in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico. Leida was getting ready in a charming vintage room located in the hacienda.

There, I was able to document every detail: her hairstyle, makeup, dress, and accessories, and I also took beautiful portraits of Leida with her young son.

Every corner of Hacienda Don Carmelo offered a perfect backdrop to capture intimate and meaningful moments.

When it was time for the wedding, it began to drizzle lightly. The rain refreshed everyone and created a golden frost in the background of my images, adding a magical touch to the ceremony photos at Hacienda Don Carmelo.

The reception was just as Leida and José had wished: a pleasant and joyful party. The guests could share, dance, and create many beautiful moments I documented for posterity.
