Wedding at Palacio Provincial | Hotel in Old San Juan, PR

After shooting their engagement session in Washington, DC, I again met this lovely couple (and their incredible families) for their destination wedding ceremony at Palacio Provincial, a newly launched Hotel located in the heart of Old San Juan, Puerto Rico.

They requested privacy for their photography but were kind enough to allow vendors to use some design elements and event photography for publishing.

Wedding Ceremony at Palacio Provincial Hotel, Old San Juan

After capturing their getting ready, personalized stationery and accessories at Hotel El Convento, I walked down the block for my first wedding ceremony at Hotel Palacio Provincial.

The ceremony would happen at the interior patio, a great idea on a hot, May wedding day. I loved the tropical greenery decor, which looked entirely appropriate for the location.

After being declared married by the officiant Cory Casterton, Yuvi Plena arrived at the hotel to pick us up in their iconic comparsa de pleneros, a carnival-style parade. The pleneros walked the guests and us —or should I say danced us?— all the way back to Hotel El Convento, where the cocktail and reception would take place.

Reception at Hotel El Convento

The couple and I quickly went into the Campeche ballroom to cool off from the dancing and to capture the decor photography before the guests came in.

Then we walked out to the beautiful, cobblestone streets of Old San Juan for their newlywed session until it was time to go back and dance the night away at their reception.

I hope you enjoy the pictures; I loved this set!

xo,

Cami

Couple's Review

Camille was the BEST

Hire Camille. My friends have been drooling over our wedding photos, and she was fast, organized, easy to work with, and the nicest person.

What really impressed me (on top of her responsiveness and attention to detail--she is non-stop) was that she has both talent and people skills.

She truly understands the lighting, knows the spots for the best backdrops, and her photos look natural and beautiful.

She is also easy to feel comfortable with, which makes her a great person to have around on your wedding day.

Plus, she happened to be visiting the city I live in (our wedding was a destination in PR), and she did our engagement photos, too. Cannot recommend her more!
