Pre-Wedding Portraits at Old San Juan
Yueyang and Weicheng were on a vacation in Puerto Rico as the perfect winter getaway to escape from the cold weather. They are starting to think about future wedding plans, and honoring their traditions, they hired me for pre-wedding photos at Old San Juan.
Pre-Wedding Photoshoot vs. Engagement Sessions
Many cultures do pre-wedding photoshoot, but Chinese and other Asian cultures don't just do an engagement portrait session as it's customary in Western countries. Some clients who are fond of travel go all around with a wedding outfit in their luggage for photos in celebration of their romance, and so did Yueyang and Weicheng, I loved it!
Their Pre-Wedding Photoshoot
Two hours before sunset, we met at the heart of Old San Juan, where I took them for a walk through the best spots in Old San Juan for photos. Eventually, we stopped at a local bar so they could change into their wedding attire on the restrooms, after which we made a walk to Castillo San Cristobal and then finished it off at the beach.
Magical Old San Juan Pre-Wedding Portraits
It was magical, and we had so many great conversations along the way! Near the end of our time together, Yueyang said that she felt that if we lived in the same place, we would probably be great friends. I felt such joy when she said that because I felt the same way! I'm blessed with a job that lets me connect and befriend people from all over the world. Enjoy this set! xo, Cami
