After our afternoon together for Gabrielle & Rich's dreamy beach engagement session in Aguadilla, expectations were high about their wedding day. They were getting married in the western town of Rincon, where many of my favorite weddings have happened. Gaby & Rich's wasn't an exception.

Wedding Photography at Villa De Zecheo, Rincon

Our day started a few hours before sunset at Villa De Zecheo, where everything was taking place that night. After a walk around the beach property, I arrived at Gabrielle's getting ready suite, which was very spacious, bright, and had amazing views. After capturing all the details, and her bridal shots, I moved to one of the balcony areas, where Rich was waiting for me with his groomsmen for some portraits. I moved back to check up on Gabrielle, who was ready to roll, so we went downstairs to meet with Rich for their first look / reveal session, after which I did some portraits in the area before going back to hiding for the ceremony. We would be doing a second set after the ceremony on the beach.

Al Fresco Beach Wedding Experience

Before heading out to the ceremony, I walked around Villa De Zecheo just swooning. It looked like out of a movie: a big clear tent with a beautiful greenery arrangement hanging from it, tables in seafoam green, gold, and greenery accents, guest name markers etched on beach glass. I have to admit that my favorite decor detail of them all was the cake: it had a cake topper featuring bride & groom sharks. Equal parts goofy and on-theme. Around the pool area, different buffet stations were being set up with sushi, coffee, cold cuts, cheeses, slider stations, etc. You could see Gabrielle and Rich are great entertainers and knew how to give their guests a fantastic experience.

Beachfront Wedding Ceremony in Rincon, Puerto Rico

You know when you see a couple that's right for each other because all the guests are just completely immersed and approving of their ceremony, and this was the case of Gaby & Rich's. Their wedding ceremony was thoughtful, happy, romantic, flawless. After the I do's, the happy couple, their close family and the wedding party stayed a little longer on the beach while the rest of the guests enjoyed cocktail hour around the pool area. After the happy group portraits, the newlyweds walked with us for their photo and video session, after which we all joined the guests in the dancefloor for an epic party.
