Heartfelt Destination Beach Wedding at Villa Montana, Isabela

I met Lisa and Steve during their wedding planning trip to Puerto Rico last year. We met the day after I got back from vacation and my face was terribly sunburned. When they didn't run right after they saw me, I knew we were meant to be. We talked about planning stuff, vendors, ideas, and I fell in love with the idea they had for their wedding day and for their wedding photography.

Rainy Wedding Day, Don't Care!

We arrived to a cloudy Villa Montana, which, of course, kind of bums us all since the outdoor parts of the venue are so gorgeous... But every wedding day is beautiful no matter the weather. I moved between rooms to capture all the getting ready madness in both Lisa and Steve's day. Luckily enough, we had window of clear skies right before the Ceremony time!

They had scheduled a first look session, where they surprised each other and shared their custom vows in private. Then we moved onto the Ceremony area, where guests were waiting for us. While we waited for the Ceremony to start, Steve was overcome from emotions as he commented me that before he met Lisa, he wasn't looking forward to marriage anymore, that he thought his time had passed already. Right after that, in a perfect, un-planned timing, Lisa started her walk down the aisle with the song Dig from Incubus (my favorite band). Lisa & Steve's love and excitement was tangible and contagious throughout the wedding, and it made everyone melt –including the photographer.

The weather wasn't holding up for much longer, so we rushed to do the wedding party photos at the beach area, after which we did also the newlywed photo session. Not only L&S are a gorgeous couple, but they also have beautiful souls. Their photo session in the beach turned out to give some of my favorite images ever.

I sincerely loved every minute of this wedding. The couple was madly in love, the crowd was happy and relaxed, every detail was gorgeous... A perfect wedding day! Thanks to Lisa & Steve for trusting me with such beautiful event, and I hope to see you again in PR!

Lisa's Review

We had the opportunity to meet Camille in person about one year before our wedding and we immediately felt that we could trust her to capture our special day. Now that the wedding is over, the beautiful pictures she captured will last us a lifetime and we couldn't be happier with the result. Camille is very professional, responsive, and organized. Leading up the wedding, and planning long distance (from Texas) was no problem at all. We also really appreciated her flexibility, as the rain changed our schedule a bit (and just the hectic nature of weddings), I felt she went the extra mile to capture the important images throughout the event; she also incorporated some image ideas I shared in advance. We selected her as a vendor, then also asked for a videographer reference- which we were very pleased with as well. We had an entire crew that worked together so well and it made for a more comfortable experience (as a couple who had never previously had professional photos). If I had the option to do it again, I would absolutely select Cami!
