Lacey and Francisco are gamers. Little did they know their love for gaming would bring a nurse from Oregon and a Video Game Programmer from the Caribbean island of Puerto Rico together. They quickly fell in love after noticing how kind they were to each other, and how much fun they had when they were together. Francisco proposed on a jungle mountaintop in December 2016, and 11 months later, they visited Puerto Rico for their Vivo Beach Club wedding.

Lacy and Francisco's Wedding Day in Isla Verde

My day started at the men's apartment in Condado. After doing some fun candids of Francisco and his groomsmen, and portraits overlooking the Condado Lagoon, I walked next door where Lacey was getting ready. She was already dressed up, looking amazingly beautiful with her mermaid-style wedding gown and fire-red bouquet. I quickly went over the details before hopping into the car and driving towards Isla Verde.

Wedding Ceremony and Reception in Vivo Beach Club

I had never visited Vivo Beach Club before, so I was impressed when I saw the beautiful ceremony area. A tree with some war injuries from its recent fight with hurricane Maria had grown back just in time to give us a glorious backdrop for Lacey & Francisco's "I do's." The couple married during the most beautiful golden sunset ever, after which we went to the beach and had a lovely portrait session.

After the sun went down, I went back to the ballroom to capture the red, green and gold decor with just the right amount of geeky details. Then the party started, which was equal parts fun, emotional, and relaxed. It was a perfect evening, hope you enjoy the photos!
