I met Allyson & George for the first time a few says before the wedding day for their engagement session at Old San Juan. Immediately they struck me as a really cool and happy couple, we had a blast and even enjoyed ourselves in a little bit of rain!!
The wedding day was just dreamlike. First, I started off at el Verdanza Hotel at Isla Verde for Allyson’s preparation. Then we went to one of the most gorgeous catholic churches I’ve been to during my career: Iglesia San Ignacio de Loyola. They had a beautiful ceremony, always smiley and happy.
The reception was done back in one of the ballrooms of the Verdanza Hotel. There was really where all the magic happened. First of all: WOW that decoration! Wine-lovers take note: every table was named and decorated after one kind of wine. Talking with some of the family members, they told me more than 5,000 wine bottles had to be opened (wink, wink…!) for collecting the corks for this wedding.
Few weddings make me cry as much as this one did. Toasts were filled with so much emotion from the college friends and parents. The party was SO great, everyone just had a blast. And I’m really happy to have had the opportunity to document such a beautiful event, and be part of those unique memories.
Cheers to the bride & groom, wishing you a long life filled with love!
