Moe and Trevor's wedding has been the sweetest thing to ever happen on Tax Day! Although they had a full wedding day, they only wanted an elopement-type coverage of just the essential moments, which is why this portrait set starts at their first look session.
First Look and Portraits Before the Ceremony at La Concha Resort
I arrived about half an hour before the ceremony to the hotel, where Trevor was waiting for me at the lobby. We set up shop on a well-lit location and waited for Moe. Trevor was very nervous and it was very special to see them overcome with emotion the instant they first saw each other.
After giving them a little time and space, we walked around the hotel for their first half of couple portraits, after which the ceremony started at the Sereno Sand location. Their ceremony was short and sweet, and it had such a casual vibe to it. On the recessional, guests threw mini-beach balls at them instead of the traditional rice or confetti. I loved it so much I had to do a full group photo where they'd throw these balls at the camera. Gladly, no photographers were hurt in the making of that photo.
Newlywed Portraits at the Beach
After group photos were done, guests walked upstairs to the Salon Mirador Terrace, while Moe, Trevor and I walked to the beach for the second set of portraits. Since it was a weekday, the beach wasn't too crowded and we had so much fun taking the photos!
Afterwards, we went up to the reception at Salon Mirador, where I took photos of the decor before the protocol started. I loved all the beach and marine details, it was so cute! The protocol, toasts, and dances started, followed by dinner. It was a perfect evening, so fun, casual, and filled with love.
