Today is Erica & Cailin's wedding day! These lovely ladies have been some of the best and most easygoing pandemic clients I've had, so I'm so happy their day is finally here! As is my tradition, today, I'm sharing their engagement photos at El Yunque Rainforest.
LGBT engagement at El Yunque Rainforest
After the COVID-19 pandemic, access to the trailheads and most popular natural attractions of the El Yunque Rainforest is limited via reservation only. Luckily, we were able to find tickets during their visit to Puerto Rico for a morning shoot.
Natural touristic attractions such as the rainforest are very frequented by visitors. They don't stay for too long, but the number of visits is sometimes a nuisance. That's why I always recommend early morning photoshoots, so we're not bothering anyone's experience, and no one is bothering ours. This is what we did with Cailin and Erica.
Engagement Photos at Juan Diego Falls
We started photographing along the trails and finished by the cold waterfall until we swam in. Something travelers aren't aware of is how cold waterfall waters are. Still, it's always fun to photograph their reactions when they walk in.
It was such a lovely, fun, and heartwarming session. Looking forward to their destination wedding today!
