Lourdes & James decided to wed in Puerto Rico with an intimate group of just their closest loved ones. They were a perfectly laid-back, happy couple and they truly got to enjoy their day from beginning to end.
Getting Ready Portraits at Villa Montana Beach Resort
Our day together started a few hours before the ceremony by meeting James at the Villa Montana Beach Resort grounds. He was almost dressed up when I arrived, so we went straight for portraits and candids.
Then I met Lourdes at her bridal getting ready. The rockstar make-up artist Caridad Vidro was doing her magic while I photographed the details and accessories, along with some candid documentary photos of this part, followed by bridal portraits and wedding party photos.
Beach Micro-Wedding Ceremony at Isabela, Puerto Rico
Then we moved to the beachfront-gazebo-turned-wedding-altar. There Lourdes and James were greeted by their nearest and dearest for a short and very sweet ceremony. After some family portraits, they moved into the cocktail time, while we walked all over the estate for beautiful newlywed portraits.
We made it back in time for a simple beachfront reception at The Eclipse Restaurant. All together in one presidential table, Lourdes and James were able to enjoy and entertain all of their guests at the same time, creating so many beautiful memories. I'm so happy I was trusted with capturing them, and I hope you loved them as much as I did.
Here's a selection of my favorite photographs of this dreamy micro-wedding.
