I met Lindsay and Phillip on their wedding day. I instantly loved their laid-back vibe, their jokes, and happy disposition. Here's a bit about their day.
Tropical Wanderlust Themed Destination Wedding
I got to the hacienda two hours before the Ceremony so we could go over the getting ready details, portraits and candids. The itinerary was loose this day, so some wedding party members hadn't arrived yet. The good thing was that the decor was ready; I took a few minutes to swoon over the beautiful tropical greenery florals Maribel had created for them. I also loved the table numbers. They were postcards from all over the world, including Puerto Rico.
Phillip and the groomsmen were ready first, so we took a walk around the hacienda doing a few portraits until it was time to visit the ladies. When I got there, Lindsay was already dressed up, writing her custom vows for Phillip. After helping each other get finished, all the ladies got out of the room and making sure no-one could see them, we went for some portraits around the hacienda. I loved the emerald green dresses the bridesmaids were wearing!
A Very Happy and Spontaneous Couple!
Guests arrived and enjoyed a beautiful Ceremony full of laughter and happiness. Lindsay and Phillip's faces just lit up when they saw each other. After the I do's, we quickly did the family & group formals, then went onto the newlywed photos. We were mostly joking around and cracking up with them during this whole shoot. You'll see the images look very happy and casual. This mood continued throughout the day as the toasts, dances, and the party continued.
It was amazing to be part of such an aesthetically beautiful, genuine, and happy event! Hope to get much more wedding days like this.
